In this post, we would like to go in-depth talking a little more about Taman Mewah, Sungai Petani and why it is well-liked by a lot of people. Taman Mewah is well-known for its: ## 1. Location Taman Mewah is relatively centrally located hence providing easy access to other parts of Sungai Petani, the old and the new towns. ## 2. Accessibility It is only 1.2km (3 min drive) away from the main road of Sungai Petani, Jalan Bakar Arang, and along the way there are shops and other neighbourhoods. Another accesss to Taman Mewah is Western-bypass/Jalan Lencongan Barat, approximately 1.3km (3 min drive) away, Western-bypass is major highway that bypass Sungai Petani. The nearest access to Plus Highway is Sungai Petani Selatan, and it is only 3.9km (8 min drive) from Taman Mewah. From there, you can access to other parts of peninsular Malaysia. ## 3. Community The vibe of the neighbourhood is relatively lively, with lots of interactions and engagements going on among the community. Due to the proximity with its nearby neighbourhoods, Taman Mewah and nearby neighbourhoods like Taman Intan , Taman Arked, Taman Nilam, Taman Delima, and Taman Sinar Intan, they are all very nice neighbourhoods and closely related like one big community. ## 5. Low flood risks While flooding can occur in various parts of Sungai Petani due to heavy rainfall or other factors, Taman Mewah has been historically free from flood, making it low risks when comes to flood.
